  4.                               MEAL-MASTER README! FILE

  6.      1.  Print or view the MMQUICK.DOC file for instructions on how to get
  7.          started using Meal-Master.
  8.  
  9.      2.  Print or view the "new621.doc" file to see what features have been
  10.          added or changed in this release.  Print or view the "new620.doc" and
  11.          "new610.doc" files to see which features were added in the last two
  12.          releases.

  14.      3.  If you have been using a previous version of Meal-Master (or Meal-
  15.          Meister), with a version number less than 5.01, then your current
  16.          working disk or hard disk directory will contain the file MM.COM and
  17.          possibly the file MM.000.
  18.  
  19.          It is important that the file MM.COM NOT be present in the
  20.          drive/directory you intend to run the new version (5.01 or higher) of
  21.          Meal-Master from.  Version 5.01 and higher of Meal-Master consists of
  22.          one program file, MM.EXE.  If both the new (MM.EXE) and old (MM.COM)
  23.          files are present on the disk/directory when you type "MM" and press
  24.          return, the NEW PROGRAM WILL BE IGNORED, AND THE OLD PROGRAM WILL BE
  25.          RUN INSTEAD.  If either or both of the MM.COM or MM.000 files are
  26.          present, YOU SHOULD DELETE THEM, or move them to a another disk or
  27.          directory, before attempting to use version 5.01 or higher of Meal-
  28.          Master.

  30.      4.  You must have the file CONFIG.SYS in the root directory of your boot
  31.          disk, and it must contain the statement FILES=xx, where xx is a number
  32.          that is at least 11.  If this file is missing, does not contain the
  33.          FILES= statement, or specifies a value less than 11, Meal-Master may
  34.          not perform all functions.  See your DOS manual for more information on
  35.          the CONFIG.SYS file.

  37.      5.  The distribution disk or archive should contain the following files:
